Theme Night for Extreme Week:

                     Monday, Aug 18- Food Olympics (bring a change of clothes)                    

                     Tuesday, Aug. 19- Twisted Sports Night

                    Wednesday, Aug 20- Water Wars (no white please)

                     Thursday, Aug 21- Battle of the Sexes

                     Friday, Aug 22- Mud Night (wear clothes to throw away)

You do not want to miss Extreme Week!!! So bring your friends and lets get extreme!!!

Ok, so I know the last few games that I posted were more of the body function humor group.  Well, this one is not so!

The game is called Last Egg Standing.  Basically, what happens is you are the fox (see picture on right) and your job is to catch as many eggs as you can.  If you catch a green rotten one, you lose a life.

So give it a try and see if you can beat my score on my  first try.  I got the level 7 and scored 804.  Good Luck!!!

You guys remember how we talked about wicca a few weeks ago?  And how Wicca is a nature based religion that involves all kinds of ceremonies and rituals?

Well, check out this news report.  Apparently a Wiccan lady was in a cemetery performing a good luck ceremony for some things that had happened in her life…a ceremony which apparently involves sticking swords into the ground.

Her foot didn’t get the memo…and she stabbed herself in the foot.  Talk about a Dangerous Religion!!!!

There are apparently 50 levels in this game, and you have to get from one door to the next on each level.  I got to level 5 on my first try.

Get out the old tent, and join us for a night under the stars!  Friday, July 18, we will be camping out here on the property of Sycamore Creek Church.  We’ll hang out, play some games, make smores, and have a good time.  So you don’t want to miss this.  Who doesn’t love the stars?  Who doesn’t love hanging out?  And who doesn’t love sleeping on the ground…ok well maybe not that one.  But, we’ll have fun!

Here is the info you need to know-
                              When: Friday, July 18th at 7pm - Saturday, July 19th at noon
                              Where: Sycamore Creek Church (meet at the office)
                              Cost: $5 per person (covers snacks, smores, and breakfast)
                              What to bring:  Tent (if you have one), sleeping bag, pillow, clothes for night and
                                                          morning, flashlight, bug spray, etc.

                                                  So invite your friends, and let’s have a good time!!!

Yahoo just released their list of the Top 12 Video Games for Summer.  I believe Rock Band makes the list!  So if you don’t want to go outside because it’s too hot or your just an indoor person, check this list out here

Starting this Thursday, July 3rd, we will be having a youth summer Bible Study.  We will be looking at the Gospel of John (that’s in the Bible, yo).  Junior and Senior high will meet at different times to study.  So read the first chapter or two of John and join us tomorrow for study.  Bring your questions!!!

Here is the Schedule:

11am- Junior High (those going into 7th and 8th grade)  meet in foyer room 1
12pm- Students get picked up or optional lunch  (this week we are going to the Wendy’s across the street).  Parents pick your students up at Wendy’s at 12:45 if they stay for lunch
1pm- Senior High (those going into 9th - college freshmen) meet in foyer room 1

THought this was interesting.  According to reports, the newest rising star in Disney, Selena Gomez, has vowed to abstain from sex until marriage.

Selena, who can be seen in the disney  show “The Wizards of Waverly Place” and has starred along side Steve Carrell in “Horton Hears a Who”, has even asked her father to get her a purity ring.
